We are looking forward to welcoming you to our family restaurant. See below for some FAQs and reservations form to book a table with us.
If you can’t see a time available or have made a last-minute decision to dine with us, we always keep a few tables in our back pocket for walk-ins. There is also always a chance of a cancellation so if you are flexible with time, it’s worth popping by and we’ll do everything we can to get you a seat at our Italian table!

We always send a booking confirmation when you book online, however sometimes those pesky spam/junk filters get in our way, so please check your junk folder too.

Please note our lovely outside tables are not bookable, they are available on a first come basis. So, pop along and see.

We welcome you to utilise the booking system below to reserve a table with us.

BUT if you can’t see a time available or have made a last-minute decision to dine with us, we always keep a few tables in our back pocket for walk ins. We would recommend bookings, however, for larger groups over 10.

Our lovely outside tables are not bookable, they are available on a first come basis. So pop along and see. Please be aware that not all of our outside areas are covered or have heaters.

We can make note of your desired table request within the restaurant however cannot guarantee especially during busy periods.

We hold tables for 15 mins and then release them if you have not arrived/or we have been contacted. We allocate your tables for 2.5 hour for larger bookings or 2 hours for tables of 2.

As we are such a busy restaurant, we only allow dogs to sit with you outside. Of course, we welcome guide dogs and assistance dogs.

Please make sure you let your server know if you have an allergy or dietary intolerance so they can make the kitchen team aware and assist with any queries. Allergen information is also available to view online. Please remember that it is not possible for us to guarantee that any product is 100% free from any allergen.

We do place a sparkler in an ordered dessert – please let your server know of any birthdays when ordering.

You are more than welcome to bring along your own cake too and a few simple decorations for the table (not glitter or confetti).

Yes we have both card and cash facilities.

No – we are a restaurant serving food mostly so would request food is ordered when visiting Donatello.

We are a small independent restaurant so kindly request ask that you give us as much notice of a cancellation or change in numbers as possible. You can cancel by using the link in your booking conformation or emailing/calling the restaurant direct with your booking details.

For larger party bookings, a £100 deposit will be required to secure your table. A full refund will be given for cancellations made more than 48 hours ahead of your booking. A refund cannot be given for diners who don’t show up. Unfortunately, due to a high demand for tables your booking will be cancelled if the full deposit hasn’t been paid 24 hours prior to the reservation.

Yes! We cater for mobility issues, wheelchair and have an accessible toilet on the ground floor. Please request ground floor when booking if you require this.

We don’t require pre-orders at Donatello allowing you the freedom to order at the time of dining.

Yes, we have a great Bambini menu available.
